Street Art Display

Finished Project

Process

The street office for the Seattle Repertory Theatre usually puts up a display relating to the show going on at the time, and so for "In the Heights," they requested some street art based on the photograph provided. So while the artwork is not mine, it was fun to copy the style of the street artists who made the original.

We had two 4'x8' brick panels already painted, so I only had to cartoon out the faces and paint them, which I did with a combination of paint put through sprayers and spray paint. Friskets were used to protect and create hard edges, as well as make the flowers.
