Draping Trees:

The forest was portrayed through dangling scrim fabric that we painted with watery paint. Initially we tried brushing it on, but that was time consuming and seemed to get more paint on the tarps than it did on the scrim. We ended up dunking them in buckets of the paint, wringing them out, and laying them out to dry.

Marble:

The marble effect was created through a light base coat, rag rolling, spattering, and veining.

Dreams and Doors:

A major element of the design concept was doors, which means we painted a lot of them. The base was a sumble, followed by a spatter. Once in position, we added some accents with dripping orange accents.
