Services Sign:

The Dragon Lady's service sign was on 3 sides, so we created a pounce for it. The main letter color was painted first, followed by the black accents.

The Dragon Lady:

This sign was on all 4 sides of the palanquin, so we created a pounce, which we used before doing the underlying color so that it could mould around the letters correctly. Then we used the pounce again to paint in the letters themselves.

Palanquin:

Gold trimming was masked out and painted raw sienna, then gold metallic paint was dry brushed over it to give an aged look. Once it was all completed, it was aged with sanding and black and raw umber washes.

Gas Pump:

I masked out each section with tape before painting to create crisp lines. For the cement texture, I mixed two gray colors with saw dust and applied it with a cement trowel.
